Geostrip – ATSTRIP
ATSTRIPS are geosynthetic strips comprise tendons of polyester yarns encased in a polyethylene sheath. Specifically engineered for the reinforcement of soils and other fills for the construction of reinforced soil walls. The high-tenacity polyester yarn tendons are the load-carrying elements with high tensile strength and low creep to ensure excellent performance and durability. The sheath consists of a superior grade of linear low-density polyethylene and additives to provide a high level of dimensional stability to the strips, exceptional resistance to ultraviolet rays, and installation damage. The knurled finish on the sheath surface ensures a more frictional interaction with the fill to mobilize high sliding and pullout resistance.

ATSTRIPS are supplied in various strengths between 20 to 100kN. The width of ATSTRIP ranges from 50 to 90mm and generally supplied in rolls ranging from 100m to 150m in length, each grade of ATSTRIP its strength is embossed at every 400mm along the length of the strip. Thus, enabling clear distinction between each grade during the installation process. The ATSTRIP rolls can be identified with colored strips and product detail labels placed above the color strip for each grade. The each ATSTRIP roll carries a label showing the product type, ultimate tensile strength, nominal length & width, roll, run and batch number.
