• Separation: ATGTX is used to separate two layers of soil with different particle size distributions. It helps prevent fine-grained subgrade soil from pumping up into permeable granular road bases and prevents the two adjacent layers from mixing.
• Filtration: ATGTX retains fine soil particles, preventing them from being leached out and affecting drainage elements.
• Protection: Geotextiles protect against soil erosion, improve drainage, enhance stability, and prevent contamination by providing separation, reinforcement, and filtration in construction, roadways, and landscaping applications.
• Drainage: ATGTX acts as a passive element to transport liquid or gas elements. It can be used alone for this function or in combination with drainage nets to increase drainage capacity.
• Erosion Control: ATGTX functions both as a separator and a drainage layer. When used for erosion control, it is placed in a specific manner for optimal effectiveness.
